Cleaning to-do’s

for venue renters

Event Rooms:

  •  Sweep where needed or vacuum

    • Sweep up food, feathers, sequins, etc that left on the floor

  • Mop where needed

    • Make sure there is no standing liquid or dried food on the floor

  • Wipe off all tables and chairs used

  • All trash bags with trash need to be tied up and taken to the trash trailer outside the facility

    • All trash cans need to be emptied

    • Empty boxes broken down

    • All food being thrown away will need to be placed in a bag before throwing away

  • Place new trash bags in to each trash can

  • If gold curtains are changed out for your event over garage door, they need to be put back up after

    your event

  • If gold, white or red curtain is used to divide the facility for your event please take down and fold curtains

  • Please remove any decorations or items used to hang decorations in and outside of the facility

  • Check to make sure all AC systems are off, should be on OFF & Auto

    • System one by women’s bathroom

    • System two by the patio upstairs

  • If rented - PA system turned off

    • Mics turned off

    • If the weather is bad unplug the system

    • System three by the front door on the right


Kitchen

  • Clean and disinfect tables, sinks, refrigerator, microwave, and oven if used

    • Make sure there is NO food left in the sink or refrigerator/freezer

  • Sweep & mop (as listed above)

  • Check to make sure garage door has been locked if used


Bathrooms - Mens, Womens, & Green room

  • Wipe down sinks and countertops

  • Any empty soap containers please leave bottles on the counter of the sink

  • All toilets are flushed and cleaned off

  • Check bathrooms for trash, empty toilet paper, paper towel rolls, etc

  • Place new trash bags into each trash can

  • Sweep & mop (as listed above)


Outside

  • Insure that outside and inside the facility there are no bottles or other trash laying around the property

    • Bottles, cigarettes, paper, plastic, food, etc.

  • Clean out cigarette bucket (if used)


OverAll

  • Double check for all personal belongings

  • Check ALL doors to make sure they are locked

  • All lights turned off

    • Minus lights leading up to the patio area (stairs), light switch located between upstairs patio doors and the lights on either side of the canopy at entrance

  • Lock entrance door, leave the key under the rock bench

  • Padlock the gate entrance as the last person leaves the property
